The Roméo Dallaire Child Soldiers Initiative (the Dallaire Initiative) is a global partnership based at Dalhousie University. Our mission is to progressively eradicate the use and recruitment of child soldiers through a security sector approach. Our vision is a world where children are no longer recruited or used as weapons of war.

Please note that we recruit for specific volunteer positions a couple of times per year. Check back regularly for opportunities as we will post the vacancies here.

Online Donation

Give online through our page on the Dalhousie University portal. Canadian tax receipts can be provided. For US donors, if a tax receipt is required, please contact our Director of Program Development () to discuss.
