The Human Rights at Sea (HRAS) international maritime initiative is currently a private venture and not-for-profit. It is in the process of applying to become a Foundation Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) regulated by the Charities Commission. Funding is provided through private donations in support of the initiative’s start-up and development. The Dallaire Initiative is collaborative partner.
