The second article, by Airianna Murdoch-Fyke, examines the sexual violence targeted at girls by combatants in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). The third article, by Arpita Mitra, analyzes the demobilization, disarmament, and reintegration process in the DRC and how it has largely failed child combatants, and Emily Pelley discusses the difficulty faced by children affected by armed conflict in the South face when they come to the North as refugees or immigrants.
